Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.220 dated 07.09.2020 registered under Section 22(c) of the NDPS Act, at Police Station Kalanwali, District Sirsa.

Custody certificate filed by learned State counsel is taken on record, as per which, the petitioner is behind bars for 2 years, 11 months and 21 days.

Learned State counsel on instructions submits that only 4 witnesses remained to be examined who have been summoned for 31.08.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition at this stage and for issuance of a direction to the trial Court to decide the case in a time bound manner.
