In view of the aforesaid request, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

Since it has been informed by learned State counsel that as on date 9 out of cited 12 PWs have already been examined and that the petitioner as on date has been behind bars since the last more than 2 years, the Trial Court is directed to take all such necessary steps as may be possible to record the statements of remaining PWs at the earliest, so that the trial is concluded within the shortest possible time.
