The petitioner prays for bail pending trial in criminal complaint No.19 dated 4.12.2014 under Sections 495/494/493/419/420/376/506/120B IPC titled as 'Raman Sharma @ Upasna v. Prince Rangra and others' pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Sangrur. It is submitted that the abovesaid complaint was registered due to matrimonial discord between the petitioner and respondent No.1. The parties, it is submitted, have amicably resolved their entire dispute. A petition under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 has been filed by the parties. CRM No.M-39747 of 2016(O&M) [2] Their statements at first motion have been recorded on 07.03.2017. A sum of `9,50,000/- has been received by respondent No.1 by way of a demand draft dated 04.03.2017. The rest of the amount will be received by her at the time of recording of the statements of the parties at second motion. The petitioner had been afforded the benefit of interim bail for a period of two months in this case vide order dated 27.01.2017. It is during this period the petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 was filed. The interim bail granted to the petitioner was extended on 18.04.2017 till today. It is submitted that in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, this petition be allowed.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 affirms and verifies the factual position as mentioned above. It is submitted that respondent No.1 has no objection in case this petition is allowed. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above but without commenting upon or expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition filed by Prince Rangra is allowed. Interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 27.01.2017 and extended on 18.04.2017 is made absolute subject to his furnishing requisite bail bonds and surety to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.
