Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 148 dated 2.12.2013 under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Ghuman Kalan, District Gurdaspur.

While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 17.11.2014:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the matter has been compromised between the parties and that petitioner has also filed a petition for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise bearing CRM-M- 35933 of 2014, which is pending for 29.01.2015. He has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail as matter is still GURPREET SINGH 2015.01.29 15:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Notice of motion for 29.01.2014. To be heard alongwith CRM-M- 35933 of 2014.

Meanwhile, in the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of arresting/investigating officer subject to the following conditions:- i) He shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required;

ii) He shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer; and iii) He shall not leave India without the previous permission of the court."

Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Head Constable Avdesh Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.

Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 17.11.2014 is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
