(ORAL) The present first petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.51 dated 23.03.2023, registered under Sections 22 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Police Station Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 04.05.2023, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jasvir Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for further investigation.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed. Interim order dated 04.05.2023, passed by this Court, is made absolute.
