Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite registration of FIR No.24 dated 23.03.2018 for the offence punishable under Section 306 IPC at Police Station Sadar Banga, District SBS Nagar, the petitioner, whose elder brother has committed suicide, has not been supplied any progress report/final report in the matter. He made a representation Annexure P-2 to Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar to this effect on 17.07.2018 but has not received any reply. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar to look into the grievance of petitioner, apprise him about investigation in the above mentioned FIR and also to take further appropriate action in accordance with law.
