This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 42 dated 08.03.2014 under Section 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Salem Tabri, District Ludhiana. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Sukhwinder Singh, who is present in court, submits that out of 13 witnesses cited by the prosecution, six have been examined. Prosecution shall not delay the matter any further. Under the circumstances, no ground is made out to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Dismissed. Fresh cause of action shall, however, accrue to the petitioner in case trial is not concluded within a period of four months.
