(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.198 dated 16.12.2016 (Annexure P-1 ) under Sections 323, 341, 506, 34, 120-B IPC (Section 307 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Samana, District Patiala.

In compliance to order dated 16.05.2017 passed by this Court, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sarabjeet Singh, stated that no other FIR is found to have been registered against the petitioner. Learned State counsel further states that final report in this case under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has also been submitted before the Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the only role attributed to the petitioner is a kick blow to the right eye of Balkar Singh.. Heard.
