  Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks the concession of 'anticipatory bail' under the provisions of Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., upon FIR no.82, dated 08.06.2021, having been registered at Police Station Mehatpur, District Jalandhar, alleging therein the commission of an offence punishable under Section 21 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Pursuant to the order dated 29.06.2021, learned State counsel submits, on instructions, that the petitioner has joined investigation. That being so and the recovery of heroin from the petitioner (as per the case of the investigating agency) being only 3 grams, which is well below the DINESH 2021.08.10 12:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
