The prayer in the present petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to take action on the representation and postal receipt dated 01.04.2025 for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioners.

Vide order dated 05.04.2025, the parties were directed to appear before the Medication and Conciliation Centre of this Court as there were chances of amicable settlement between them.

As per the report of the Mediator dated 08.05.2025, the parties have settled their dispute by way of an amicable settlement/agreement. 4.
