*** Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has since joined the investigation and has been released on interim bail. He further states that as per his information offence under Section 307 IPC has been deleted and remaining offences being bailable, other accused have been granted bail by the police. This fact is conceded by the State counsel on instructions from ASI Jagtar Singh. Resultantly, this petition has become infructuous. The petitioner has already approached the investigating officer and has been granted interim bail. Counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the petition at this stage having become infructuous granting him liberty to approach the Court, if need be.
