Satpal v. State Of Punjab And ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-38995-2015 Date of decision : 18.11.2015 SATPAL ....... PETITIONER
VERSUS
STATE OF PUNJAB & ORS ....... RESPONDENTS CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY TEWARI *** Present: Mr.Gagandeep Singh Sirphiki, Advocate for the petitioner. ***
1. Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2. To be referred to the Reporters or not?
3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? AJAY TEWARI, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is to seek a direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No. 5 to 12. The allegation is that the petitioner has filed a complaint(Annexure P/1) against respondents No. 4 to 12 and due to that respondent No.4 is harassing him at the behest of respondents no. 5 to 12. Moreover the said complaint is still pending with respondent No.3. Learned counsel states that at this stage the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to look into the said complaint. I find this to be a fair request.
Resultantly this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to look into the matter and take whatever action he deems necessary.
Since the main case has been decided, the Criminal Misc. Application, if any, also stands disposed of. ( AJAY TEWARI ) November 18, 2015 JUDGE sunita SUNITA NAGPAL 2015.11.19 12:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity y of this document Chandigarh
