Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to take appropriate action on the said representation (Annexures P-4).
Learned counsel for the petitioners has further stated that the petitioner No.1 has seen her parents in the Court premises and they are very apprehensive that they may be harmed. It has further been prayed that the petitioners may be sent to the Protection Home under the police security for two days or till the danger persists.
I find this to be a fair request and allow the same. Resultantly, I have summoned the police personnel Constable Ajay Singh from the High Court Police Post who states that he will summon the necessary officials from the Police Station, Sector 3, Chandigarh who will escort the petitioners to the Protection Home and till then the petitioners will be in their security in the High Court Police post.
Since the main case has been decided, the pending Criminal Misc. Application, if any, also stands disposed of. A copy of this order be given to the concerned police official under the signatures of the Bench Secretary.
