The substantive prayer made in the instant petition reads thus: "In view of the above detailed facts & Circumstances, and keeping in view of the advance age i.e. 72 years of the petitioner it is most respectfully prayed:

a) For the time bound disposal i.e. within 6 months from the next date i.e. 18-07-2026 already fixed of the CRM-A-283/25. b) The decision of Interim Compensation application i.e. also fixed for 18-07-2026 for reply, within 3-4 weeks by pre-poning the same to some other shorter date in the interest of justice." 2.

Having heard the petitioner, who appears in person and also having perused the record, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to dispose of the appeal pending before it within a period of six months from the next date of hearing fixed before it i.e. 18.07.2026. Needless to say that any miscellaneous application(s) pending adjudication shall also be decided in the said time frame.
