(ORAL) Petition herein inter alia is for quashing impugned order dated 04.02.2023 (Annexure P-5) passed by learned Rent Controller, Jalandhar, whereby application(Annexure P-3) filed by respondent-landlady under Section 20(2)(A) of the Punjab Rent Act, 1995 was adjourned to decide upon liability of respondent to pay the arrears of rent and proof of payment of rent. Further sought to quash order dated 05.04.2023 (Annexure P-6) passed by learned Rent Controller, Jalandhar whereby petitioner has been directed to pay rent at the rate of Rs.1,500/- per month w.e.f. 01.04.2016 till the date of filing of petitioner i.e., March-2022. 2.

When this Court showed its disinclination, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition to pursue case before learned Rent Controller in accordance with law.

Dismissed as withdrawn. Needless to say all the grounds raised herein shall remain open to petitioner to be taken up before learned Rent Controller for adjudication.
