(ORAL) The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the permit against the grant letter No.4553 dated 24.12.2021. The time was extended up to 23.06.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite completion of all the necessary formalities, permit has not been released to the petitioner so far despite his representation dated 09.06.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that one Nidhi Dutta daughter of Om Parkash resident of Berian Mohalla, Hanuman Chowk, Gurdaspur has provided the bus to POONAM BHATT 2023.05.08 17:46 I attest the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

2023:PHHC:065653 CWP No.9401 of 2023 -2the petitioner on lease basis and she has also filed representations dated 13.10.2022 and 16.04.2023. Despite the aforesaid communications addressed to the competent authority, the competent authority has not done anything so far. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sanjeev Soni, Addl. A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the aforesaid representations shall be decided by the competent authority in accordance with law preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
