[The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual Court] Vehicle bearing registration No. RJ-32-GC-0416, allegedly belonging to the petitioner, laden with Rori (gravel) on its way from Dadri to Faridabad was seized on 30.5.2020 by the officials of respondent no.3- Assistant Mining Engineer,Department of Mines and Geology, Distt.Faridabad as it was carrying loaded minerals on expired E-Rawanna. The appeal filed by the petitioner against said seizure was dismissed by respondent no.2-The Director General, Department of Mines and Geology,Haryana vide impugned order dated 18.6.2020 (P-7). Hence the present petition seeking quashing of impugned order P-7.

CWP 10366/2020 Short reply by way of affidavit of Deepak Kumar, State Geologist, Mines and Geology, Haryana has been filed on behalf of the respondents inter alia stating therein that the present writ petition has become infructuous as the vehicle in question already stands released on 8.8.2020 in compliance of order dated 7.8.2020 (R/3). Learned counsel for the petitioner does not contest the averments made in the said short reply.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
