' ( $ )*+, This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.8 dated 23.01.2022, under Sections 323, 324, 34 and 506 of Indian Penal Code (Section 326 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Qila Lal Singh, District Batala (Annexure P-1) and all the consequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 05.04.2022 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Vide order dated 24.05.2022, the 33)6))7 )8 )39 was directed to record the statements of the parties with regard to the genuineness and validity of the compromise.

In compliance thereof, the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Batala has submitted its report, vide letter dated 05.07.2022 which indicates that the parties appeared before the Magistrate and got recorded their respective statements with regard to the validity of the compromise. As per
