**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J. (Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.PC for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.51 dated 26.03.2024 under Sections 323, 341, 379-B, 506, 148 and 149 IPC registered at Police Station A-Division, Amritsar. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that after the registration of FIR in question, which emanated on account of a sudden quarrel, the parties had ironed out their differences and arrived at an amicable settlement; the parties had also approached this Court by way of CRM-M-20233-2024 for quashing of the FIR in question in which by an order of even date, notice of motion has been issued and parties are directed to get their statements recorded with regard to compromise so arrived at between them.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 does not dispute the submissions made by counsel opposite and submits that he has no objection in case, anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioners. 4.
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the relevant material on record.

Admittedly, the FIR in question emanates from a sudden quarrel between the parties; later on, they resolved their dispute by an amicable settlement. Moreover, the investigation in the case in hand is at the initial stage.

In the facts and circumstances as enumerated hereinabove, this Court deems it fit to extend the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. In the event of their arrest, they shall be admitted to interim bail on their furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioners shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.PC. 7.
