Present petition has been filed under Section 438 CrPC for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.34 dated 21.02.2023 under Sections 22/61/85 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Mahilpur, District Hoshiarpur 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel submits that the petitioner be allowed to surrender before the trial Court and his application for bail be decided in a time bound manner.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 13.05.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, the same be decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
