The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 25 dated 07.02.2020, registered under Sections 21 and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station Shahkot, District Jalandhar Rural.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to order dated 20.07.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Bhupender Singh, has not controverted the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation. He submits that, per his instructions, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 20.07.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
