Mr. Akashdeep Miglani, Advocate for the respondent. *** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. The judgment debtor assails the correctness of the order passed by the executing Court while issuing the warrants of possession. The petitioner herein has been ordered to be evicted in a proceedings filed under Section 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949, vide an order dated 14.03.2019 by the Rent Controller, Ludhiana. Admittedly, an appeal filed against the eviction order dated 14.03.2019 is pending for 24.11.2021.

Learned counsel representing the parties after arguing for some time have come to a consensus. They have undertaken on behalf of their parties to go prepared to address final arguments in the appeal before the appellate authority on 24.11.2021. In the meantime, they have undertaken to maintain the status quo with regard to possession.
