The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to register an FIR under the appropriate provisions against the private respondents in terms of his representation dated 08.01.2026 (Annexure P-4).

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed the aforementioned representation on 08.01.2026 before respondent No. 2-Seniuor Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) raising his grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon. He has further submitted that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) to decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner and take necessary action thereon. 3.
