(Presence marked through Video Conference) -.- ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to grant further extension for one year for the post of clerk on contract basis. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed on the post of Clerk on contract basis initially for a period of one year. Thereafter, State of Haryana issued instructions dated 06.11.2020 regarding adjustment of contractual employees of Group 'C' of outsourcing policy vide which the employees working on contract basis are to be kept on the post till regular appointment is made. Therefore, he was granted extension from time to time. Before expiry of his contract service period i.e. 31.03.2021, respondent No. 4 sought extension for the post being manned by petitioner for a period of another year w.e.f 01.04.2021 to 31.03.2022 vide letter dated 17.12.2020 (Annexure P-4), but till date respondent No.2 has not taken any decision. He further submits that one

Learned State counsel, joins proceedings on advance service and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State of Haryana. 6.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let a final decision is taken, either way, by the respondents by treating the present writ petition as a representation, giving reasons thereof. 7.
Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner and also by keeping in view the contentions raised in the present petition by treating the same as a representation and take a decision, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within a period of six weeks from today.

Disposed of accordingly.
