(Oral) At the very outset learned counsel states that in the memo of parties though the complete address of petitioner No.1 has been given but inadvertently City Ludhiana has been omitted. She is allowed to make correction in the memo of parties. Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondents No. 4 and 5.

The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents. They are stated to be major. Petitioner No.1, who is a Muslim by caste, has filed an affidavit(Annexure P-4) where she SUNITA NAGPAL 2015.11.20 11:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity y of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M No. 39355 of 2015(O&M) has deposed that she has adopted Hindu religion and has chosen her name as Neha. She, in support of her age proof, has placed on record extract of her Aadhar Card(Annexure P-1) which depicts her year of birth as 1997 and petitioner No.2 in support of his age proof has also placed on record extract of his Aadhar Card (Annexure P2) which shows his year of birth as 1990. They have already moved a representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana, for protecting their life and liberty. Copy of the representation is annexed as Annexure P-7.

Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana, respondent No.2 to take an appropriate action on the said representation. Since the main case has been decided, the pending Criminal Misc. Application, if any, also stands disposed of. A copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioners on payment of usual charges.
