(ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/ 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondent No.2 to disclose the numbers obtained by the petitioner in the written examination conducted for the post of Clerk. 2.

At the outset, instead of pressing the petition on merits, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he would be satisfied in case the application dated 20.02.2020 (Annexure P-20), which is pending for consideration with the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula, is decided by the competent authority on some early date. 3.

The prayer seems to be justified. Learned State counsel is also not averse to the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner. 4.

In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the SONU 2020.07.21 05:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

present petition with a direction to the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula to consider and decide the application dated 20.02.2020 (Annexure P-20) filed by the petitioner, if the same is pending, in accordance with law expeditiously, but within three weeks from today. 5.

Ordered accordingly.

Needless to say that if some adverse decision is taken against the petitioners, they would be at liberty to take recourse to the remedy available under law.
