The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 28.11.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-35248-2025, whereby without adverting to the merits of the case, respondent was directed to consider and decide the representation dated 13.10.2025 filed by the petitioner.

In compliance of the order dated 28.11.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-35248-2025, compliance report by way of affidavit dated 15.05.2026 of Vinay Pratap Singh, Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Haryana, along with speaking order dated 15.05.2026 (Annexure R-1), has been filed on behalf of the respondent in the Registry. The same is taken on record.

In view of the above, since order dated 28.11.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-35248-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 15.05.2026.
