Jaspal Kaur v. State Of Punjab And ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-39435 of 2017 Date of Decision: 24.10.2017 Jaspal Kaur ....Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Mr. J.S. Moudgill, Advocate, for the petitioner. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner from respondents No.4 and 5.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, is directed to look into representation dated 01.08.2017 (Annexure P-5) moved by the petitioner, in a time-bound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2017 (Annexure P-5) after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
