HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioner has filed instant petition praying for grant of premature release in case FIR No.268 dated 25.06.2003 under Sections 302,34,216,120-B IPC and Sections 25,54,59 of the Arms Act registered at P.S Asandh, District Karnal.

A reply by way of affidavit dated 08.03.2022 of the Inspector General of Prisons, Office of Director General of Prisons, Haryana has been filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4 wherein it is stated that the case of the petitioner regarding premature release was considered by the State Level Committee in its meeting on 22.01.2022. After receiving the recommendations of the State Level Committee, a release order dated 17.02.2022 has been passed and the petitioner has been released from the Central Jail, Ambala.

In view thereof, present petition has become infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly.
