Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner, who is the mother of the minor had applied for the admission of her daughter, namely, Urbanpreet in the respondent No. 1-school but, no action has been taken by the respondent-school concerned to conduct the selection process to evaluate the candidate who had applied for the admission in play class and the said process has been cancelled which is causing prejudice to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the selection process has already been cancelled by the respondent No. 1 school concerned and the seats available with the respondent-school has already been filled up keeping in view the criteria fixed by the school concerned. 3.

CWP-9606-2025 (O&M) -2the petitioner for cancellation of the selection process has also been raised by the petitioner before the Directorate of School Education, Chandigarh Administration and the authorities concerned should be directed to take appropriate decision on the grievance raised by the petitioner so that the child of the petitioner does not suffer any grievance. 4.

Mr. Rakesh Sobti, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and submits that in case, any of the grievance has been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be considered and decided after hearing the petitioner as well as the school in accordance with law within a period of four weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing appropriate speaking order and in case, after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any benefit, the same will be extended to him forthwith.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 7.
Ordered accordingly.
