(ORAL) Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners have filed this petition seeking protection of their life and liberty alleging that they are major and have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 12, who are relatives of petitioner No.1. The date of birth petitioner No.1 is 01.01.1995 as shown in Aadhar Card (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2 is 01.01.1997 as shown in Aadhar Card (Annexure P-2). Apprehending danger to their life and liberty, they moved representation dated 12.10.2017 (Annexure P-5) to Superintendent of Police, Faridabad. He confines the relief claimed in this petition for direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to look into the representation of the petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 i.e. Commissioner of Police, Faridabad and SHO, Police Station Sector 55, District Faridabad, to look into the representation dated 12.10.2017 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order alongwith representation in their office. In the meanwhile, respondents No.2 and 3 are directed to ensure protection of life, limb and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of the private respondents. However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
