Present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.33 dated 17.3.2025 under Sections 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Section 29 of NDPS Act, Section 111 of BNS, 2023 and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 added later on), registered at Police Station Bullowal, District Hoshiarpur.

Learned State counsel has filed short reply by way of affidavit of Narinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Rural, District Hoshiarpur, in Court today. The same be kept on record. Copy thereof has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.
