(Oral) At the very outset learned counsel for the petitioner states that in the memo of parties name of the father of the petitioner has been wrongly mentioned as Sohan Singh whereas it should be Mohan Singh. He prays for making the correction in the memo of parties. He is allowed to do so wherever necessary.

This is a petition for regular bail filed in case bearing FIR No.1 dated 01.01.2014, under sections 18/22 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Sahnewal, District Ludhiana City. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been in custody since 15.01.2015 and regular bail to co-accused Inderjit Singh @ Lali was granted in CRM-M-22245-2015 decided on 15.10.2015 in the following terms :-

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present case is identical. Learned Addl. A.G., on instructions from ASI Taranjit Singh has accepted that the cases of both the petitioners are on the similar footing.

In these circumstances without commenting on the merits of the case and keeping in view the period of custody, I do not deem it appropriate to deny the concession of bail to the petitioner. Let him be released on bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court. Petition stands disposed of.

Since the main case has been decided, the Criminal Misc.Application, if any also stands disposed of. ( AJAY TEWARI ) JUDGE 11.12.2015 (
