**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 340 dated 5.10.2020 registered under Sections 323, 325, 34 IPC, Police Station Civil Lines Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur (Annexure P-1) and all the consequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 31.5.2021 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 06.7.2021, directed the parties to get record their statements with regard to the compromise and the trial Court was also directed to satisfy itself with regard to the authenticity of the compromise.
