Learned counsel for the respondents submits that petitioner despite seeking appointment from passport authority is not coming forward. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on being confronted with aforesaid fact, submits that petitioner would appear before passport authority on the date fixed.

The petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before passport authority on 18.09.2023. If petitioner appears before passport authority on 18.09.2023, the passport authority would decide application of the petitioner within 06 weeks thereafter.
