(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.4 is continuously harassing the petitioner to solemnize marry with him without her wishes otherwise he will kill her and her father and will also commit a suicide. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation dated 06.11.2016 (Annexure P-1) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, for seeking protection of life and liberty from him but till date no action has been taken.

In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur (respondent No.2), to look into the representation dated 06.11.2016 (Annexure P-1), filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law.
