This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 348 dated 18.09.2015 under Section 307 IPC and section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Sadar Jind, district Jind. Allegation against the petitioner is that he fired a shot at the complainant which caused injury on his left hand index finger. Investigation of the case has been completed and trial is in progress. Petitioner is stated to be in custody since 19.09.2015. Heard.

Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, period of incarceration and the fact that trial may still take some time to conclude, I am of the considered view that no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner in custody any longer. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
