Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 68 dated 7.5.2014 under Section 379, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Sadar Taran Taran, District Tarn Taran.
While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 20.11.2014:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the FIR does not disclose the date of incident of the alleged theft of sand, Bajri and other articles. He submits that earlier the petitioner had been granted interim bail by the learned trial Court, however, the same was not confirmed as he was not allowed to join the investigation.

Crl. Misc. No. M-39688 of 2014 -2bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. He shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and abide by all the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C."
Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Assistant Sub Inspector Narinder Kumar, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.
Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 20.11.2014 is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
