This petition has been filed for issuance of directions to respondent authority to investigate properly in FIR No.0224 dated 21.07.2020 registered under Sections 302 and 34 IPC at Police Station Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar.

Status report dated 24.08.2023 by way of affidavit of Darpan Ahluwalia, IPS, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Dera Bassi, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 along with statement of complainant (Annexure R1) has been filed by learned State counsel. Same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned State counsel refers to the status report dated 24.08.2023 in particular to para 8 thereof, which reads thus:- "That it is worthwhile to mention here that on 18.07.2023, the complainant/the present petitioner has also suffered statement before the Ld. Court of SDJM, Dera Bassi stating the she agreed with the cancellation report/untraced report submitted by the police and she did not want to pursue the case further. xx xx"

A further reference to the statement of the complainantpetitioner, which reads thus:- "Stated that I agree with the cancellation/untraced report submitted by the police and I do not want to peruse the case further.

I have no objection if the cancellation/untraced report be accepted. I am producing ASHOK KUMAR 2023.08.28 19:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed and the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
