(The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual court) Instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to the respondents to grant four weeks' emergency parole to the petitioner for the treatment of his father, who is suffering from pancreatitis with shock. The petitioner was tried in FIR No.23 dated 30.08.2015, under Sections 302/34 & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act, Police Station Dorangla, District Gurdaspur and accordingly, he has been convicted and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment. CRWP-5903-2021 --2-- this Court, which is still pending admitted for final adjudication. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the concession of parole has already been granted by the concerned authorities, therefore, she intends to withdraw the instant petition.
