Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking directions to respondents No. 1 to 5 to protect his life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 6 to 8.

Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Assistant Sub Inspector Randhir Singh, has submitted that after thorough investigation of the case, cancellation report has been prepared and the same will be presented in the Court within one month from today.

In view of the submissions made by the learned State counsel, no further interference by this Court is called for. Petitioner, if so aggrieved, can challenge the cancellation report by filing the protest petition.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
