(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for releasing the detenue-Lachmi D/o Mukand Lal @ Uttam Ram, resident of Ward No.7, Navi Danna Mandi, Near Gas Agency, Jalalabad, Tehsil Jalalabad (W), District Fazilka, Punjab.

The learned counsel for the petitioner is not available. However, the petitioner-Sheela Rani @ Sheela is present in person, who is identified by ASI Jagdeep Singh. She submits that she has no grievance as her grand-daughter, Lachmi (detenue) has come back to her and is residing with her.
