Both these writ petitions are amenable for being decided through a common verdict inasmuch as the grievance encapsulated in both these writ petitions stems from the inaction on the part of the respondent No.2, who has, despite lapse of considerable time, not made any decision on the applications submitted by the petitioners for issuance of Registration Certificate of Pharmacist.

This Court, while issuing notice upon both these writ DEVINDER YADAV 2025.04.23 16:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-9706-2025 and CWP-9739-2025 petitions on 05.04.2025, had directed the learned counsel for the respondent No.2 to, after having instructions from the quarter concerned, inform this Court as to how much time is required to make decision on the petitioners' applications.

Today, the learned counsel for the respondent No.2 has, after having instructions from the quarter concerned, informed this Court that, within four weeks from today, final decision will be made on the petitioners' applications.

In view of the above, both these writ petitions are disposed of with direction upon the respondent No.2 to, within four weeks from today, make final decision on the petitioners' applications for issuance of Registration Certificate of Pharmacist. Needless to say, due opportunity of hearing shall be given to the petitioners before drawing the final decision on their applications.

A photocopy of this order be placed on file of connected case.
