**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.56 dated 17.06.2021 registered under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur.

Notice of motion was issued on 30.06.2021 on the ground that the FIR was registered on the basis of secret information and still there was non-compliance of Section 100(4) Cr.P.C. Interim anticipatory bail was also granted to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 30.06.2021, petitioner has joined the investigation to the entire satisfaction of the Investigating AMANDEEP GOSAIN 2021.09.22 16:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Sukhwinder Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 05.07.2021 and he is no more required for further investigation in the case.

In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 30.06.2021 is made absolute. Petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Petition stands disposed of.
