The present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing of FIR No.120 dated 23.07.2018, registered under Sections 420 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, (for short, 'IPC'), and Section 24 of the Immigration Act, at Police Station Navi Baradari, District Jalandhar, and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2.

Vide order dated 12.10.2022, the parties were directed to appear before the learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate, for getting their statements recorded; as to the genuineness of the compromise. In compliance thereof, report of the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, dated 27.02.2023, has been received, wherein, it has been submitted that the parties did not appear VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2023.09.22 16:40 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh
