Learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent no.2/ complainant state that the matter has been compromised between them vide settlement dated 10.1.2023 arrived at in the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court.

In terms thereof, a decree of divorce by mutual consent has already been filed, which is fixed for recording of second motion statement on 25.9.2023. It is further submitted that petition for quashing of the FIR in question on the basis of this settlement will also be filed by the parties. In terms thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not press the present petition.

Dismissed as not pressed.
