Instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to allocate the station in District Sangrur and to offer the vacant stations; for directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to submit her options for the vacant stations in District Sangrur. Further, a writ of certiorari has been sought quashing the order dated 24.09.2024 (Annexure P-2) to the extent the petitioner has not been given all the station option in District Sangrur in spite the same being vacant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of her grievances the petitioner has moved representation dated 15.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) to the respondents, however, no action has been taken thereon till date. CWP-10089 of 2026 his prayer for deciding representation dated 15.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) and submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied, if the said representation is considered and decided by passing a speaking order in a time-bound frame.

Mr. Surya Kumar, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the present petition, respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the claim made by the petitioner in the representation stated to be dated 15.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

The petition stands disposed of.
