Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 20.03.2006, whereby the proficiency step up given to the petitioner was withdrawn, which was stayed by the Division Bench on 13.10.2006, while admitting the petition, however the same was made absolute on 19.05.2006, after hearing the learned counsel for the respondents. 2.

In the index of the petition, reliance was placed to the pendency on CWP-8546-2005, titled as Subhash Chander vs. State of Punjab and others, which has been disposed of on 22.09.2023. Learned State counsel is unable to point out from the written statement that there is any misrepresentation or concealment of facts and resist disposal of the case in terms of the above decision. 4.
