Baljinder Kaur, prays for transfer of the petition filed under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, bearing No.HMA/78/2021 (Satinder Pal Singh Vs. Baljinder Kaur) pending in the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Tarn Taran to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Ferozepur.

The petitioner claims that she is maintaining her three year old daughter and the respondent is already defending a petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. and a petition filed under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

The distance between Tarn Taran and Ferozepur is alleged to be 80 kms.

The transferor Court is requested to remit the case file to the transferee Court forthwith. The petitioner is directed to appear before the District Judge, Ferozepur, on 15.09.2021 who will either decide the matter himself or assign it to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Ferozepur.
