Quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise has been prayed for.

It has been informed that the parties are residing together. Challan has not yet been presented. Notice of motion to the Senior Standing Counsel for UT., Chandigarh.

On asking of the Court, notice has been accepted by Mr.Gautam Dutt, Advocate, on behalf of Senior standing counsel for UT., Chandigarh. Copy given.

This petition is disposed of with a direction that the the Investigating Officer will record the supplementary statement of the complainant regarding the parties residing together within a period of one month. In case any such statement is offered by the complainant voluntarily, the Investigating Officer would record the same as per the provisions of Section 163 (2) Cr.P.C. In said eventuality, it would be open to the Investigating Agency to file cancellation report and the complainant may appear before trial Court to submit no objection to the acceptance of cancellation report.
